Teaching
Educating you on your diagnosis and treatment is an essential part of how we manage our patients at spinal physio.
Formal teaching sessions can be arranged for your company, organisation or sports team on injury management and prevention.
Our chief Physiotherapist, Kevin Hunt regularly lectures at the British Horse Racing School at Newmarket to Apprentice and Conditional Jockeys on Injury Management and Prevention. He is also a guest lecturer at the University of Nottingham Sports and Exercise Medicine Masters Degree program.
Kevin presents to GP’s and Consultants on the benefits of physiotherapy in treating back and neck pain and sports injuries. He has presented at senior executive conferences for GSK and Rolls Royce on Musculoskeletal wellbeing and how to stay fit on the road as a busy executive with frequent long haul travel. He has also been invited to speak at schools to those considering a career in Physiotherapy.
