It's just wear & tear - right???

Most of us have heard this phrase either directly from a doctor trying to explain your problem or from someone you know who says "yeah, it's just a bit of wear and tear". But what does this mean. Is it accurate, is it a good thing or a bad thing and does it mean you're wearing out? Firstly we need to understand arthritis.
